Bring vand i kog i en gryde, og tilsæt 1 del pulver for 2-3 dele vand.
Rør godt rundt, og hæld det i en form, og lade det køle af ved stue temperatur.
Når det er hærdet, bør det opbevares i køleskab. Her kan det holde sig i 2 uger (fryser 6 måneder), og man kan løbende skære stykker af og fodre med.
Man kan også skære fine strimler og tørre det i ovnen, og lave det til jerky.

DIRECTIONS: Bring water to a boil on stove, in microwave or kettle. Pour boiling water into a bowl and immediately stir in powder (1 part powder to 2-3 parts water). Let cool or immediately pour into mold. Gel will set at room temperature. Cut into pieces or make into a slow release Jerky. Once made, gel should be treated as fresh food and can be sealed and stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks, or freezer for up to six months.

JERKY: Prepare gel as above, pour into deep container, and then cut gel into ¼ inch thick slices of desired size. Completely dry in Oven or Dehydrator at 150 °F (65 °C). (8-12 hours typical).
